Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in revenue operations, with at least 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Your technical acumen with data analytics tools and languages allows you to translate complex business questions into actionable insights. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey findings to a diverse audience of internal stakeholders effectively. You are curious and proactive in identifying areas of opportunity within the business, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to strategic discussions. Your experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, enhances your ability to support sales teams in optimizing their processes. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for building innovative solutions that drive efficiency and effectiveness in revenue operations.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Familiarity with sales methodologies and performance metrics will help you excel in this role. A background in SaaS or technology companies is also beneficial, as it provides context for the challenges and opportunities in revenue operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be instrumental in defining Smartsheet's growth strategy through data-driven insights. You will help create, evolve, and maintain the reporting infrastructure for the Sales organization, promoting intelligent discussions that lead to informed decision-making. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you will analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Your insights will support the sales team in optimizing their pipeline, increasing retention rates, and closing deals more effectively. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering reports that highlight key performance indicators and sales metrics, ensuring that stakeholders have access to the information they need to drive success. As part of a motivated team, you will engage in strategic discussions that shape the future direction of the company, leveraging your analytical skills to provide recommendations that align with business objectives.
