Who you are
You have a strong background in sales engineering or a related field, ideally with experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are customer-focused and thrive on helping clients understand how to leverage technology to solve their challenges. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design, to deliver the best solutions for customers. You are proactive in seeking out customer feedback and translating it into actionable insights for product improvement. You have a passion for technology and a desire to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Desirable
Experience in the software or security industry is a plus, as is familiarity with open-source technologies. A background in software development or technical support can also be beneficial in understanding customer needs and challenges.
What you'll do
As a Sales Engineer at Socket, you will lead discussions and product demonstrations to showcase our capabilities and address customer challenges. You will craft technical content that guides customers in implementing specific use cases or extending our solutions. Collaborating closely with account teams, you will understand customer requirements and translate them into Socket capabilities, emphasizing the business value of our offerings. You will support Proof of Concepts (POCs) that align with customer needs, providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, and guidance throughout the evaluation process. Additionally, you will offer guidance on integrating our solutions into customers' existing infrastructures, ensuring a seamless experience. You will distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes customer success.
