Who you are
You have extensive experience in technical program management, particularly within IT organizations — you've successfully led complex, cross-team initiatives from approval through design and implementation, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the process. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and surface trade-offs early has been key to your success in previous roles.
You possess a strong understanding of program governance and delivery readiness — you know how to balance risk, dependencies, and capacity across multiple teams, ensuring that solutions are operationally supportable and audit-ready. Your experience has taught you the importance of predictability in program delivery, and you strive to reduce late-stage surprises.
What you'll do
As a Staff Technical Program Manager at SoFi, you will play a critical role in enabling program-based delivery across the IT organization. You will partner with Technology, Business, and Compliance stakeholders to drive clarity in ambiguity and facilitate informed decision-making. Your focus will be on delivery readiness, sequencing, governance, and program health, rather than sprint execution or backlog management.
You will be responsible for ensuring that complex initiatives move predictably from approval through design, build, and operate phases. This includes improving predictability in program delivery and ensuring that all solutions are secure and compliant with audit requirements. You will work closely with various teams to identify potential risks and dependencies, helping to create a collaborative environment that fosters transparency and accountability.
