Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, particularly in penetration testing, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams in offensive security. Your leadership style is characterized by low ego and high collaboration, fostering an environment where team members can thrive and innovate. You possess a deep understanding of security frameworks and tools, including Burp Suite and Metasploit, and are well-versed in OWASP principles. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge gaps and drive strategic initiatives.
Desirable
Experience with AI-optimized security solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. You are passionate about staying at the forefront of cybersecurity trends and technologies, continuously seeking to enhance your team's capabilities and offerings.
What you'll do
In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee the Sophos Red Team in Japan, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional penetration testing services that delight customers. You will partner closely with sales and marketing teams to grow the practice, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue and customer satisfaction metrics.
