You have hands-on laboratory experience and a basic understanding of materials science fundamentals — you're skilled in setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on daily lab operations to support materials and process development, failure investigations, and process control validation for products like Starlink user terminals and solar products. You will maintain safe and efficient operations by enforcing proper workflow and safety protocols. Your responsibilities will include supporting the maintenance and calibration needs of lab instrumentation, ensuring proper sample preparation and traceability for materials testing, and operating various thermoanalytical equipment and microscopy tools. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and calibrating lab equipment, which is essential for accurate testing and development. Your contributions will directly impact the success of SpaceX's innovative projects, and you will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists to achieve the company's ambitious goals.
