Who you are

You have a strong background in environmental and occupational safety, with hands-on experience in implementing safety programs and conducting safety reviews. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your ability to analyze incidents and develop corrective actions is key to your success in this role.

You are familiar with OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH regulations and have experience conducting job hazard assessments. Your proactive approach to safety and health programs ensures that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with test engineers and technician teams to perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations, ensuring safe execution of all activities. You will lead or assist in all aspects of incident investigations, including initial follow-up, root cause analysis, and the development and closure of corrective actions. Your collaboration with department leadership will be essential in completing job hazard assessments and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.

You will develop and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH, ensuring that all safety programs are up to date and effective. Your role will also involve implementing and developing safety and health programs, including OSHA general industry and construction standards, to promote a culture of safety at SpaceX.
