You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in power electronics, with experience in designing and developing power conversion and control systems. Your expertise spans low voltage to kV range applications, and you are familiar with various power systems including solar, battery, and motors. You possess a solid understanding of embedded systems and have worked with tools like LabVIEW to facilitate your designs.

What you'll do
As a Hardware Development Engineer on the Power Electronics team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the power systems that are critical to the operation of the Starlink satellites. Your role will involve conducting detailed analysis and simulations to ensure the reliability and efficiency of power conversion systems. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to integrate your designs into the overall satellite architecture, ensuring that they meet performance and safety standards.
You will also be involved in testing and validating your designs, using both simulation tools and physical prototypes. This includes troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the testing phase. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of the Starlink system, enabling high-speed, low-latency broadband internet service for millions of users worldwide.
