Who you are
You have a strong background in hardware development with a focus on PCBA manufacturing processes. Your experience includes managing production schedules, work instructions, and process documentation, ensuring high-quality standards are met. You are skilled in using tools like Altium Designer and Eagle for PCB design, and you have a solid understanding of embedded systems and Linux environments. Your analytical skills allow you to track defect rates and identify trends to improve production efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design engineers and process specialists to introduce new products effectively. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining traceability and configuration management throughout the production lifecycle.
Desirable
Experience with LabVIEW for testing and validation processes would be a plus. Familiarity with industry standards for PCBA manufacturing and a proactive approach to problem-solving will help you excel in this role. You are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology and improve user experiences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and manage the PCBA processes for in-house production, driving the execution of manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards. You will oversee the volume production of PCBA, managing nonconforming product issues and implementing process controls to enhance efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing new product introductions, collaborating with design engineers to ensure seamless integration of new assemblies into production. You will create and maintain work instructions and process documentation, providing training to team members to ensure adherence to best practices. Tracking production schedules and work-in-progress levels will be essential, as will monitoring defect rates to identify areas for improvement. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team, leveraging data to drive decisions and enhance production capabilities.
