Who you are
You have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with experience in overseeing the installation and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment. Your expertise includes reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and work instructions, which allows you to effectively install new production support equipment. You are skilled in maintaining and installing all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring that all machinery operates smoothly and efficiently.
You possess a keen eye for detail and are adept at inspecting and assessing the functionality of critical facility systems such as cranes and elevators. Your knowledge of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance techniques enables you to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns effectively. You are committed to ensuring the reliability of industrial equipment and associated support systems, contributing to the overall success of the Starlink project.
Desirable
Experience with advanced maintenance techniques and familiarity with the latest industrial technologies will be advantageous. A background in aerospace or a related field is a plus, as is any experience working in fast-paced environments similar to SpaceX.
What you'll do
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, including cranes and compressed air systems. You will work closely with third-party contractors to ensure that all installations meet the high standards expected at SpaceX. Your role will involve performing regular services and maintenance procedures, as well as troubleshooting any equipment breakdowns that may occur.
