Who you are
You have extensive experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician, particularly with CNC machinery, and possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Your background includes troubleshooting and repairing complex CNC systems, including 5-axis milling and various lathe applications. You are skilled in preventative maintenance and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and effectively.
You are familiar with PLCs, HMIs, and various control systems, allowing you to quickly diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during production. Your experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including actuators and valves, enables you to maintain and repair these critical components. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
What you'll do
As a Senior Machine Maintenance Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance. You will perform preventative maintenance on a variety of complex CNC systems, including 5-axis milling machines and lathe applications. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing control and electrical system failures, as well as mechanical systems, ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly.
You will collaborate closely with production and development teams, providing critical support to address any equipment issues that arise. Your ability to think critically and develop quick resolutions will be essential in this demanding environment. You will also be responsible for documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
