SpaceX is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for the Starlink Growth team to analyze consumer metrics and optimize acquisition strategies. You'll work with SQL, Tableau, and Power BI to drive subscriber growth. This role requires a proactive analyst with strong quantitative skills.

Who you are
You are a proactive analyst with a blend of quantitative skills and a curiosity for market dynamics — you excel at turning complex data into actionable strategies for consumer growth. With experience in analyzing consumer metrics, you understand key performance indicators like Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). Your analytical mindset allows you to uncover trends and opportunities that drive business decisions.
You have a strong background in SQL and statistical methods, enabling you to perform in-depth analyses of consumer metrics and develop forecasting models for subscriber growth and revenue projections. Your ability to incorporate external factors like competitive landscapes and economic indicators into your analyses sets you apart.
You are skilled in creating and maintaining reporting dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker — your visual storytelling helps stakeholders understand complex data at a glance. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to inform pricing and retention initiatives.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools and a strong understanding of market trends in the telecommunications industry would be a plus. Familiarity with consumer behavior analytics and growth strategies will enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will focus on consumer metrics and insights, conducting research and reporting to support data-driven decisions that accelerate subscriber growth and enhance user value. You will perform in-depth analyses of consumer metrics, including LTV, CAC, churn rates, and cohort performance, using SQL queries and statistical methods to uncover trends and opportunities.
You will develop forecasting models for subscriber growth and revenue projections, incorporating external factors like competitive landscapes and economic indicators. Your analytical insights will inform acquisition strategies and pricing initiatives, directly impacting the growth of the Starlink service.
You will create and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators, ensuring that the team has access to real-time data to make informed decisions. Collaborating with marketing and product teams, you will help shape strategies that drive consumer adoption and retention.
