Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and experience in legal and compliance roles, ideally within the aerospace or regulatory sectors. You possess strong organizational skills and are adept at managing documentation and compliance processes. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners is essential for success in this role. You are detail-oriented and capable of maintaining meticulous records while supporting investigations into legal matters. You are also comfortable advising and training teams on compliance issues, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and educated on relevant regulations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will assist in developing and executing processes to manage regulatory compliance procedures, ensuring that SpaceX adheres to all necessary legal standards. You will lead and support investigations into legal matters, keeping detailed notes and records organized for easy reference. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with internal teams to gather documents and facts relevant to drafting communications for attorney review. You will draft, maintain, and manage legal documents, including corporate documents and regulatory filings, while tracking signatures and submissions. Additionally, you will advise and educate internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters, supporting cross-functional teams in areas such as aerospace regulation and environmental compliance. You will also negotiate and track Non-Disclosure Agreements and provide general support to legal functions, including litigation assistance and contract management.
