Job Description
Who you are
You have detailed knowledge and experience in a Microsoft environment, supporting Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012+. Your expertise includes the Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Office 365, as well as Azure services like OneDrive and SharePoint. You are familiar with access control policies via Windows Active Directory and have a strong understanding of Group Policy and remote access solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with both onsite and remote users to resolve technical issues efficiently.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can manage raised requests and incidents in a timely manner, following established internal processes. Your experience includes providing 24x5 support and being on-call for weekend support on a rotational basis. You are proactive in automating common tasks to improve efficiency and increase productivity, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support a global community of approximately 500+ users, providing assistance with workstation applications and hardware issues. You will interact with users both onsite and remotely, ensuring they have the necessary support for their technical needs. Your responsibilities will include alert management to proactively resolve failure alerts and degraded services through internal monitoring tools. You will collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 internal and external teams to troubleshoot more complex incidents, ensuring that all issues are resolved effectively.
You will also be responsible for managing raised requests and incidents, following well-rehearsed internal request runbooks and knowledge bases. Your role will involve developing strategic solutions in collaboration with internal and external teams, contributing to the overall efficiency of the support process. You will perform related duties and responsibilities as requested, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.
