Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in acquiring new business and working with small to medium-sized businesses. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
You are comfortable with consultative selling, conducting discovery calls to understand business challenges, and presenting solutions that align with client needs. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of Squarespace’s offerings effectively. You are excited about being part of a founding team and contributing to the establishment of a new sales playbook.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to demo, negotiation, and closing deals with new SMB customers. You will proactively source new opportunities through personalized outreach and social selling, while also collaborating with the marketing team to manage inbound leads. Your role will involve building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales targets.
You will play a key role in refining how Squarespace communicates its value proposition to SMBs, helping to establish a structured and high-velocity sales motion. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Acquisition, and be part of a collaborative team that is focused on driving new business growth. Your contributions will help shape the future of Squarespace’s sales strategy and impact the company’s overall growth trajectory.
