Who you are
You are an exceptional transactional lawyer with experience in the payment or fintech industries, bringing a deep understanding of associated regulatory issues. You have in-house experience advising high-growth companies and a working knowledge of data protection laws such as CCPA, GDPR, and HIPAA. You are also familiar with using LLM tools and have experience in improving legal processes with AI technology.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at leading negotiations for complex and strategic agreements. Your ability to advise on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, including the launch of new products and support for international expansions, sets you apart. You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to collective success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the AMER Sales team by leading negotiations for complex agreements that drive Stripe's business forward. You will advise on various commercial and legal issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while facilitating the launch of new products. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting international expansions and navigating the complexities of global commerce.
You will work closely with Product Legal to ensure that all legal aspects of product development are addressed, contributing to the overall success of Stripe's innovative suite of SaaS offerings. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including sales, product, and engineering teams, to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies.
