Overview

Suvoda is hiring a Sales Director to identify and close new business within assigned accounts. You'll manage the sales process and develop relationships with clients. This position requires at least 7 years of sales experience in the eClinical software field.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of sales experience in the eClinical software field — your interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders. You are ambitious and self-motivated, bringing a high level of energy to your work, and you excel in time management and organizational skills. Your analytical thinking ability and creative problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex sales processes and client needs with ease.

What you'll do

As the Sales Director, you will identify and close new business within assigned accounts, managing the entire sales process from opportunity identification through to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure. You will also handle responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) with your assigned accounts, ensuring that all client needs are met. Organizing and leading client meetings for initial capabilities presentations and bid defenses will be a key part of your role, as will serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding mid-study change orders. You will drive the governance process with strategic accounts, collaborating with services management and the executive team as necessary. Additionally, you will attend conferences and industry events to represent the Suvoda brand and identify new opportunities, while also generating leads and collecting competitive intelligence to inform management. Training and mentoring Business Development Associates will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the team is equipped to succeed.
