Who you are
You have 2-3 years of sales experience in SaaS, innovation technology, or digital media industries — your background in media is a significant advantage. As a Japanese native with excellent professional English communication skills, you can effectively engage with clients and partners. You possess strong communication, presentation, and phone etiquette skills, allowing you to convey value propositions clearly and persuasively. Your detail-oriented and analytical nature enables you to build and maintain a robust sales funnel while optimizing the sales process. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to learn and adapt quickly.
Desirable
Experience in the digital advertising space is a plus, as is familiarity with the Japanese market. You are comfortable collecting business intelligence through conversations with clients and monitoring trends in data and reports. Your ability to absorb product information quickly will help you relay its value to prospects and clients effectively.
What you'll do
As a Publisher Sales Manager for the Japan Market, you will independently build and manage a large pipeline of leads, consistently closing new business to meet or exceed revenue goals. You will gain a deep understanding of digital technology and the revenue ecosystem, which will empower you to secure new publisher partners for the Taboola network. Your role will involve discovering, identifying, sourcing, and structuring partnerships that align with our strategic goals.
