Tanium is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales to lead a team focused on new logo acquisition across Canada. You'll develop and execute a national customer acquisition strategy while managing a team of Directors of Strategic Accounts. This role requires a proven track record in sales leadership.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a strategic and tactical leader with a proven track record in sales, particularly in new customer acquisition. With experience managing teams, you understand how to drive revenue growth and achieve quotas through effective leadership and coaching. You have a strong background in overseeing sales teams and developing successful sales strategies that align with corporate objectives.
You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams, including Sales Development Representatives and Marketing. Your experience in the midmarket, enterprise, and public sector segments equips you with the insights needed to navigate complex sales environments. You are adept at building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will personally oversee a team of 8 Directors of Strategic Accounts, focusing on new logo accounts across Canada. You will develop and execute a national customer acquisition strategy aimed at generating annual growth in revenue and bookings. Your responsibilities will include coaching your team to create and execute effective account plans, ensuring they are equipped to prospect effectively through various methods such as cold calling and networking.
You will work closely with your team in the field, attending events and meeting prospective customers to build relationships and drive sales. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to enhance pipeline generation and ensure that your team operates efficiently. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving both individual and team sales targets, contributing significantly to the overall success of the organization.
What we offer
Tanium offers a competitive salary range of C$335,000, along with commission eligibility. You will be part of a dynamic team that values strategic thinking and execution in sales.
