You have a strong understanding of export compliance regulations, particularly the Canadian Export and Import Permits Act, Defence Production Act, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Your experience in managing compliance activities ensures that all business operations align with legal requirements. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, allowing you to handle multiple compliance tasks effectively.

What you'll do

As the Export Compliance Coordinator, you will support the Senior Manager, Global Trade Compliance in overseeing the company's compliance with export regulations. You will manage day-to-day export control activities, ensuring that all exports of hardware, software, and technical data meet legal requirements. This includes conducting compliance assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.

You will collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on compliance matters and assist in the development of training programs to educate employees on export compliance policies. Your role will also involve staying updated on changes in export regulations and implementing necessary adjustments to company policies and procedures.
