Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the healthcare or biotechnology sectors, and are skilled at building relationships with key stakeholders. Your experience includes developing strategic plans to expand business opportunities and retain clients, particularly in oncology practices and academic medical centers. You understand the importance of compliance and are adept at navigating complex regulatory environments. You are a proactive communicator, capable of collaborating with various sales positions to achieve company goals. You are also comfortable analyzing competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights to leadership.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive strategic business expansion and collaboration opportunities with major U.S. cancer centers and clinics, as well as the top oncology practices in your territory. You will structure detailed strategic plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients, maximizing client-bill contracting opportunities, and implementing laboratory services agreements with bill account institutions. You will collaborate with various sales positions to ensure the successful attainment of company goals and objectives. Additionally, you will identify and develop partnering opportunities between prospective oncology clients and Tempus, promoting compliance with new web-based molecular information tools for all clients. You will continually analyze the competitive landscape within assigned accounts to determine trends and provide customer feedback to Tempus leadership. Monitoring performance of sales to ensure objectives are met will also be a key responsibility.
