Overview
Tempus is hiring a Part-Time Anatomic Pathologist to conduct pathology reviews and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. This role requires an MD with board-certification in Anatomic Pathology and a current Illinois medical license.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a board-certified Anatomic Pathologist with an MD and a current Illinois medical license. You possess excellent managerial, organizational, reporting, and communication skills, which enable you to thrive in a clinical laboratory environment. Your experience includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a clinical laboratory setting, and you are available to work 1-2 shifts per week, including weekends.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct pathology reviews, including H&E review for specimen adequacy and PD-L1 IHC for both research and clinical specimens. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team focused on answering key biological questions, contributing your expertise to enhance patient care. Your shifts will primarily be on Saturdays from 3-7 PM, with flexible scheduling on Sundays and availability on weekdays after 2 PM.
