Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data science with a focus on genomics and machine learning — your expertise allows you to analyze large multimodal datasets effectively and develop innovative algorithms that can predict cancer subtypes and treatment responses. You hold an MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as statistical genetics or bioinformatics, and you are comfortable working with real-world clinical data.
Your experience includes working with genomic data types like DNA-seq and RNA-seq, and you understand the complexities involved in handling clinical data. You are skilled in using programming languages such as Python and R, which you leverage to build robust data models and algorithms. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with product, science, engineering, and business development teams to create impactful solutions in precision medicine.
What you'll do
In this role, you will analyze large datasets to develop AI-powered clinical reports that enhance patient care. You will design and characterize novel algorithms that predict cancer subtype and patient outcomes, ensuring that your work has a significant clinical impact. You will collaborate closely with various teams to build an advanced data platform that supports precision medicine initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include interrogating analytical results for robustness and generalization, as well as documenting and presenting your findings to peers and stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in advancing medical research by leveraging one of the largest clinicogenomics datasets available.
