Job Description
Who you are
You hold an MS or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistical genetics, cancer genetics, or bioinformatics — your academic background equips you with the knowledge to tackle complex data challenges in the healthcare sector. You have strong skills in data science and a proven track record of applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems, particularly in genomics. Your experience with genomic data, including DNA-seq and RNA-seq, allows you to analyze and interpret large datasets effectively.
You are adept at collaborating with diverse teams, including product, science, engineering, and business development — your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly helps bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You possess a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to interrogate analytical results for robustness and clinical impact. Your passion for improving patient care drives you to innovate and develop novel algorithms that can predict cancer subtypes and treatment responses.
Desirable
Experience with clinical data, such as survival data and clinical trials, is a plus — you understand the nuances of working with real-world datasets and the ethical considerations involved. Familiarity with AI technologies and their applications in precision medicine will set you apart as a candidate.
