Tempus is hiring an Extractions Manager to lead a laboratory operations team focused on molecular extractions and next-generation sequencing. You'll collaborate with various teams to optimize workflows and ensure high-quality results in cancer care.

You have a strong background in laboratory operations, particularly in molecular extractions and nucleic acid isolations. Your leadership experience includes managing teams in high-complexity environments, ensuring that workflows are efficient and effective. What you'll do
As the Extractions Manager, you will lead a 24/7 team of supervisors and molecular technologists, overseeing nucleic acid isolations and molecular pre-analytic workflows. You will be responsible for key performance indicators and will make necessary adjustments to optimize operations. Your vision and guidance will be crucial in managing a high-complexity, high-volume molecular workflow, ensuring that the team scales effectively with growth.
You will partner with senior leadership to align staffing, equipment, and team structure with the organization's growth objectives. Your role will also involve developing and executing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and promote employee engagement.
