Tempus is hiring a Senior Strategy and Operations Manager to lead the development and launch of novel AI algorithms in clinical diagnostics. You'll work closely with clinical and data science teams to define and validate new diagnostic tests. This role requires strong entrepreneurial skills and experience in clinical diagnostics.

You have a strong background in strategy and operations, particularly within the clinical diagnostics field — your experience has equipped you with the ability to define and develop novel AI algorithms that can significantly impact patient care. You possess a deep understanding of the clinical and life sciences landscape, which allows you to inform the development strategy of diagnostic tests effectively.
Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to seek innovative solutions and collaborate with key opinion leaders in medicine and data science — you thrive in environments where you can leverage scientific literature to define potential AI algorithms and their clinical applications. You are adept at handling sensitive information, including intellectual property and protected health information, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define potential novel AI algorithms, including applicable populations and clinical indications, while assessing their impact on patients — you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clinical teams to validate these algorithms and ensure they meet performance thresholds.
You will also be tasked with developing and executing strategies to launch these algorithms into clinical practice, working alongside engineers and data scientists to ensure successful implementation. Your role will require you to engage with various stakeholders, including clinicians and patients, to gather insights that will inform the ongoing development of these diagnostic tests.
