What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Histology laboratory, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will manage staff schedules and prioritize workflows to meet the needs of a growing lab. Your responsibilities will include hiring and training new team members, conducting annual reviews, and providing coaching and corrective action as needed. You will also participate in cross-functional teams to coordinate troubleshooting efforts and implement new workflows and products. Daily audits of LIMS reports will be part of your routine to ensure timely processing of samples with a high degree of accuracy. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, documenting all maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your role will also involve investigating and resolving any deviations from defined procedures, ensuring that all laboratory practices adhere to legal and ethical standards.
