Who you are

You have extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly in the aerospace sector, and have a proven track record of leading teams through complex projects. Your leadership skills are complemented by your technical expertise, allowing you to guide your team effectively while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and can navigate the challenges of spacecraft assembly and integration with ease. Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with the overall mission goals.

You possess a deep understanding of electrical integration and testing processes, having defined and maintained best practices in previous roles. Your experience includes overseeing the development of ground support equipment (GSE) and command and control frameworks, ensuring that all systems are robust and reliable. You are passionate about mentoring and developing your team, providing them with the support and guidance they need to excel in their roles.

What you'll do

As the AIT Electrical Manager, you will lead the electrical engineering function within the AIT department, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical integration and test campaigns. You will manage and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, focusing on their professional development and performance management. Your role will involve defining a roadmap for the development of GSE and command and control frameworks, collaborating closely with the IT & Digital tools team to implement these initiatives successfully.

You will also be responsible for defining and maintaining electrical AIT processes and standards across spacecraft programs, ensuring that all projects adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. Your expert technical input will be crucial in system-level integration and verification, particularly in areas such as power systems, harnessing, grounding schemes, EMC, and flight electrical architecture. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our space systems and directly contribute to the success of our flight programs.
