Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex negotiations and building relationships with small to medium-sized businesses. Your analytical skills enable you to identify high-potential partners and assess market dynamics effectively. You are disciplined and strategic, focusing on quality over quantity in your sales approach. You thrive in competitive environments and are comfortable with the responsibilities of owning your sales funnel from prospecting to closing deals.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively to potential partners. Your experience in field-based roles has equipped you with the ability to adapt to varying territories and travel as needed. You are motivated by results and have a strong desire to contribute to the growth of Uber Eats in your region.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or restaurant industry is a plus, as is familiarity with SMB sales processes. A background in data analysis or market research can enhance your ability to make informed decisions. You are open to learning and adapting your strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-quality sales funnel, aiming to close approximately 20 restaurant partnerships each month. You will independently design your weekly funnel construction plan, utilizing geo insights and competitive dynamics to prioritize your outreach efforts. Your role will involve sourcing, qualifying, and pitching to potential restaurant partners, ensuring that deals progress smoothly through the sales stages.

You will lead complex negotiations, balancing the needs of the merchants with Uber's business objectives. This includes structuring offers that align with the expectations of different merchant types and ensuring that the partnerships are mutually beneficial. Your ability to maintain a healthy stage distribution in your sales pipeline will be crucial for achieving your targets.

You will also engage in early-life follow-up with new partners to ensure they activate successfully and remain engaged from day one. This involves providing support and guidance to help them navigate the onboarding process and maximize their experience with Uber Eats.
