Uber is hiring an Account Executive in Guadalajara to expand Uber Eats' restaurant selection by acquiring high-quality SMB partners. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage a sales funnel effectively.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex negotiations and building relationships with small to medium-sized businesses. Your analytical skills allow you to identify high-potential partners and balance quality with volume in competitive markets. You thrive in a field-based role and are willing to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals. You are disciplined and strategic, focusing on long-term value rather than just immediate sales activity.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-quality sales funnel, aiming to close approximately 20 restaurant partnerships each month. You will independently design your weekly funnel construction plan, sourcing and qualifying potential restaurant partners using geo insights and competitive dynamics. Your role will involve leading multi-step negotiations that balance unit economics and merchant expectations, ensuring that each deal is structured effectively based on the type of merchant. You will also follow up with newly onboarded merchants to ensure they activate successfully and remain engaged from day one.
