Uber is hiring an Associate Account Manager for their SMB Hero team to manage local restaurant partnerships in Japan. You'll focus on business growth and strategic partnerships while collaborating with C-level stakeholders. This role requires 3+ years of sales experience in a high-growth environment.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 3 years of sales experience in a high-growth company, particularly in solution sales, which has equipped you with the skills to communicate and negotiate effectively with C-level executives in the SMB sector. You possess a strong understanding of marketplace business models and are eager to contribute positively to the local community. Your fluency in Japanese and basic English reading and writing skills enable you to navigate diverse environments and engage with various stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage approximately 80 to 100 local SMB restaurant partners, ensuring a strong and lasting relationship with each. You will engage in negotiations with C-level contacts and identify key points of contact to discuss the future potential of Uber Eats. You will monitor business conditions weekly, using data to identify potential business signals and swiftly address challenges. Collaborating with managers and leadership teams, you will help shape the future of the SMB Hero function in Japan. You will work cross-functionally with teams in operations, marketing, and customer support to ensure a seamless experience for restaurant partners. Regularly, you will share progress with stakeholders and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
