Who you are

You are an exceptional legal professional with experience in product counsel, particularly in the areas of consumer protection, privacy, and commercial law. You have a strong ability to provide strategic feedback to cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, and Engineering, ensuring that new features and products comply with legal standards. Your collaborative nature allows you to synthesize inputs from various stakeholders and deliver actionable legal advice that supports business objectives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead legal reviews for new products and features across the Uber platform, ensuring that they meet legal requirements and support the needs of consumers, merchants, and earners. You will coordinate global reviews with regional legal teams, providing timely and actionable advice from the early design phase through to product launch. Your role will involve acting as a connective force across Legal and cross-functional teams, synthesizing inputs and driving strategic feedback on sophisticated legal issues.

You will be responsible for tackling novel and complex problems that arise at the intersection of technology, commerce, and regulation. This includes advising on intellectual property, licensing, and competition law as Uber scales its delivery services globally. Your insights will help the company navigate legal challenges while executing on core strategic initiatives.
