You have a proven track record in sales management, with experience leading high-performing teams. Your strategic mindset allows you to set geo-level commercial strategies that drive success. You prioritize a people-first approach, ensuring the development and growth of your individual contributors. Bonus points if you have experience in the local restaurant industry, as this will enhance your understanding of the market dynamics.
You excel in sales lifecycle management, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to acquire new customers. Monitoring the sales pipeline and forecasting revenue are second nature to you, and you guide account executives through the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, assisting your team in closing high-value deals and overseeing contract negotiations.
You stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, ensuring your team has comprehensive knowledge of the company's products or services. Your coaching abilities shine as you track progress against sales targets for the team and individual account executives, identifying potential risks to achieving sales targets and proactively managing performance where needed.
What you'll do
As the Sales Manager at Uber Eats, you will lead a team of Account Representatives and Account Executives, overseeing their outreach, negotiation, relationship building, and merchant onboarding efforts. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new customers, ensuring that your team is equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed. Monitoring the sales pipeline and forecasting revenue will be key responsibilities, as you guide your team through the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
You will assist Account Executives in closing high-value deals, overseeing contract negotiations and approval processes. Developing strategies to overcome objections and accelerate deal closure will be essential to your role. Staying updated on industry trends and competitor offerings will help you maintain a competitive edge, while ensuring your team is knowledgeable about the company's products or services.
Your role will also involve tracking progress against sales targets for both the team and individual account executives. You will identify potential risks to achieving these targets and hold a high bar for performance, proactively managing performance where needed. Your leadership will help roadmap your teamβs activities, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.
