You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in the grocery or retail sector — you've successfully defined product visions and strategies that resonate with users and drive engagement. Your ability to translate user needs into actionable product requirements is second nature, and you excel at distilling complex problems into clear hypotheses and desired outcomes.
You are a strong communicator who can articulate product plans and tradeoffs to diverse audiences, including internal teams and external partners. Your experience in launching experiments to test changes and analyze results has equipped you with the skills to make data-driven decisions that enhance user experiences.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers, designers, data scientists, and user researchers. You understand the importance of fostering a strong team culture and are committed to setting clear deliverables and driving execution.
Desirable
Experience with generative AI technologies is a plus, as you will be paving the way for innovative shopping experiences. Familiarity with local commerce and retail trends will also enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Product Manager for Grocery and Retail Discovery at Uber, you will define the product vision and strategy for enhancing local shopping experiences. You will identify both near and long-term initiatives to execute an effective product roadmap that aligns with Uber's goals. Your role will involve translating user needs into product requirements, ensuring that the features you develop resonate with users.
