You have extensive experience in human resources, particularly in a business partner role, where you've successfully aligned HR strategies with business objectives. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that HR initiatives support organizational goals. You understand the complexities of managing talent in a rapidly evolving environment, especially in tech-driven companies.
You are adept at navigating the challenges of a diverse workforce and are committed to fostering an inclusive culture. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data to inform decision-making and drive improvements in HR processes. You have a proven track record of implementing effective HR programs that enhance employee engagement and performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with Upwork's Chief Operating Officer and various teams, including Customer Support, Trust & Safety, Payments, Legal, Infosec, and Communications. You will provide strategic HR guidance and support to these departments, ensuring that HR practices align with business needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
You will also play a key role in talent management, helping to identify and develop high-potential employees within the organization. Collaborating with leaders, you will facilitate performance management processes and support succession planning initiatives. Additionally, you will work on employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees alike.
