Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in growth strategies and customer onboarding. You understand the importance of creating delightful user experiences and have a track record of implementing successful product-led growth initiatives. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify customer needs and pain points effectively, ensuring that the end-to-end customer experience is continuously improved. You are a strong communicator and collaborator, capable of working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive decisions and are comfortable experimenting with various strategies to unlock growth opportunities.
Desirable
Experience in a marketplace or platform business model is a plus. Familiarity with A/B testing and user research methodologies will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in seeking out new levers for growth and are not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive results.
What you'll do
As the Principal Product Manager for Growth at Upwork, you will set the overarching growth strategy for both enterprise and non-enterprise clients. You will lead the client onboarding flow, ensuring that new users have a seamless experience from the moment they join the platform. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to gain insights into customer needs, defining success metrics, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to implement high-velocity experiments. You will also be responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of various growth initiatives and iterating on strategies based on data-driven insights.
