You have a proven track record in account management, with experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. You understand the importance of being a trusted advisor and can align solutions with customer objectives to drive success. You are proactive in learning about product offerings and can confidently communicate their value to customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure customer health and satisfaction.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with various stakeholders. You are adaptable and can navigate different customer needs, ensuring that their security and compliance goals align with their growth objectives. You are motivated by achieving net revenue expansion and understand the metrics that drive success in account management.
What you'll do
As an Account Manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for the expansion and retention of a subset of customers. You will develop and maintain strong relationships, acting as a strategic partner to your assigned accounts. Your role will involve understanding customer needs deeply and aligning Vanta's solutions to help them mature their compliance and security programs. You will engage in post-sale commercial conversations, including mid-cycle upsells and renewals, ensuring that customers are satisfied and achieving their goals.
You will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to understand customer health and ensure strategic alignment. Your efforts will contribute to achieving overall net revenue expansion, measured by Net Revenue Retention. You will also take the initiative to learn about Vanta's product roadmap, enabling you to speak confidently about the offerings and how they can benefit customers.
