Vanta is seeking a Manager of Customer Success for their Upmarket segment to lead a team of CSMs focused on onboarding, adoption, and retention. This role requires strong strategic ownership and excellent coaching capabilities.

You have a proven track record in customer success management, ideally with experience in leading teams that drive customer onboarding and retention. You possess strong strategic ownership skills and are comfortable operating at multiple levels within an organization. Your coaching capabilities are exceptional, allowing you to mentor and develop a high-performing team that is customer-obsessed and data-informed. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are skilled at navigating complex customer landscapes, ensuring that your team delivers measurable impact.
Desirable
Experience in the security or compliance industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity with customer success metrics and frameworks will help you excel in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
As the Manager of Customer Success at Vanta, you will lead a team of Customer Success Managers dedicated to the Upmarket segment. Your primary responsibility will be to hire, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will drive consistent execution across various customer lifecycle stages, including onboarding, adoption, risk management, success planning, and renewal influence. By inspecting team and segment performance using data, you will coach your CSMs on prioritization and leading indicators of customer health. Additionally, you will build repeatable processes that scale, reducing ambiguity and increasing velocity across the customer lifecycle. Strengthening multi-threaded customer relationships and supporting executive-level conversations will also be key aspects of your role.
