Overview
Vapi is hiring a Solutions Engineer to provide hands-on technical guidance for enterprise clients. You'll work closely with customers to help them deploy complex voice agent solutions using Vapi's API. This role requires strong technical skills and experience in enterprise sales cycles.

Who you are
You are a Solutions Engineer with a strong background in technical sales and customer engagement. You have experience guiding enterprise clients through the deployment of complex solutions, ensuring they understand the capabilities of the technology. Your ability to educate and communicate effectively makes you a valuable asset in the sales process. You thrive in environments where you can take ownership and drive projects from interest to successful implementation.
You have a passion for technology and a deep understanding of voice interfaces and APIs. Your experience in the startup ecosystem, particularly in Series B to F companies, gives you a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities that enterprises face when adopting new technologies. You are a world-class educator, capable of breaking down complex concepts into understandable terms for clients.
What you'll do
In your first 30 days, you will ramp up on Vapi’s architecture and learn how customers build with our APIs. You will familiarize yourself with the various points of configuration available to clients, enabling you to provide tailored solutions. By the 60-day mark, you will lead technical discovery sessions, scope integrations, and prototype voice agent solutions in collaboration with Account Executives (AEs).
As you progress to 90 days, you will take ownership of strategic enterprise sales cycles and pilots, working closely with AEs to ensure a seamless transition from interest to deployment. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the technical aspects of the solution, addressing any concerns they may have, and ensuring their success with Vapi’s platform.
