You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity sectors, with experience managing accounts and driving revenue growth. Your consultative selling approach allows you to build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. You are a self-starter with a hunter mentality, always looking for new opportunities to expand your territory and meet sales quotas. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles. Your ability to communicate effectively and present compelling proposals makes you a trusted advisor to your clients.
What you'll do
As a Principal Account Executive at Veracode, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting to closing deals. You will develop account and territory sales plans to meet your assigned quotas and goals. Your role will involve educating current and potential clients about Veracode's product offerings, ensuring they understand the value of our Application Risk Management solutions. You will prepare and present sales proposals and quotations, negotiating complex agreements to secure business. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records of client interactions and updates in our CRM database, ensuring that all information is organized and accessible.
