Overview

Veracode is hiring a Principal Account Executive to manage the full sales cycle within your assigned territory. You'll focus on building relationships with enterprise accounts and executing strategic territory plans. This role requires extensive sales experience in the security market.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. You thrive in high-growth environments and have a deep understanding of the security market, particularly in Application Risk Management. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in large enterprise accounts sets you apart. You are innovative and can inspire prospects to think differently about their needs, engaging them in a value-based sales approach.

You possess excellent forecasting skills and can deliver a predictable sales cycle. Engaging with upper management to navigate complex sales cycles is second nature to you. You are comfortable participating in industry-leading events, showcasing your expertise and representing your company among thought leaders and innovative vendors. Continuous learning and sales training are important to you, as you strive to stay ahead in a competitive landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will create and execute a strategic territory plan aimed at attracting and closing business. You will leverage cross-functional relationships with business development, marketing, regional partners, and system integrators to maximize your impact. Your responsibilities will include accurately forecasting sales and delivering results that align with company goals. You will challenge and consult with prospects, guiding them through the sales process from initial discovery to proof of concept and ultimately to purchase order.

You will actively participate in industry events, networking with other professionals and showcasing Veracode's innovative solutions. Your role will require you to continuously refine your sales techniques and strategies, ensuring that you remain effective in a rapidly evolving market. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that the sales process is seamless.
