Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in a technical sales environment β€” you've successfully managed a portfolio of clients and understand the nuances of driving renewals and upsells. Your ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders is second nature to you, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you partner with technical teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You are comfortable using sales tools like Salesforce and have a knack for identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts. You are passionate about technology and continuously seek to learn more about the products you sell, ensuring you can effectively communicate their value to customers.

Desirable

Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus, as is familiarity with web development technologies β€” you understand the challenges developers face and can speak their language. A background in account management or customer success will also serve you well in this role, as you will be expected to navigate complex customer needs and align them with Vercel's offerings.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own a book of commercial customers, focusing on driving renewals, upsells, and cross-sells β€” your goal is to maximize account value while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will identify and execute on expansion opportunities, developing strategic account plans that align with both customer goals and Vercel’s growth objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and champions will be crucial to your success, as you will partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions. You will also be responsible for tracking your sales activities and outcomes, using data to inform your strategies and improve your approach over time.
