You have a strong background in compensation strategy and have successfully developed and implemented compensation programs in a growing organization. Your experience includes working closely with leadership teams to align compensation practices with business goals, ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top talent. You are a trusted advisor who can navigate complex discussions and provide insights that drive decision-making. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to fostering a thriving in-office culture.
Desirable
Experience in a technology or security-focused company is a plus, as is familiarity with global compensation practices. You understand the nuances of compensation in different regions and can adapt strategies accordingly. You are data-driven and can analyze compensation trends to inform your recommendations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and refine Verkadaโs global compensation strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's growth and values. You will develop multiple programs, such as merit increases and bonus structures, that reward performance and support employee engagement. Collaborating with the People Team, Finance, and Business Operations, you will ensure that compensation practices are equitable and competitive. You will also be responsible for communicating the compensation philosophy to employees and stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust.
You will analyze market data to benchmark compensation and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Your role will involve regular reviews of compensation structures to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with industry standards. You will also work closely with the CFO and VP of People to ensure that compensation strategies support the overall business objectives and culture of Verkada.
