Verkada is seeking a Manager of Compensation to lead the development of their global compensation strategy. You'll work closely with the CFO and various teams to attract and retain top talent. This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in compensation strategy development and execution, ideally with experience in a rapidly growing organization. Your expertise in compensation philosophy will guide your efforts to attract, reward, and retain top talent across the globe. You are a trusted advisor to company leaders, collaborating closely with teams such as Finance and People Operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You thrive in an in-office culture and are committed to being present at the San Mateo office five days a week.
Desirable
Experience in building compensation functions from the ground up is a plus. Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and market analysis will enhance your ability to refine and implement effective strategies. You possess strong analytical skills and can translate data into actionable insights that drive decision-making.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and refine Verkadaโs global compensation strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's growth objectives. You will work closely with the CFO to evolve the compensation philosophy and execute it across the organization. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research to benchmark compensation practices, developing compensation structures, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You will also collaborate with the People Team to create competitive compensation packages that attract top talent. As the first leader in compensation, you will have the opportunity to shape the function and make a significant impact on the organizationโs success.
