Overview

Verkada is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead and grow their Enterprise team in Sydney. You'll be responsible for executing the regional sales strategy and mentoring a team of Account Executives. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in sales management.

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, ideally with experience in the technology sector. You understand the nuances of enterprise sales and have successfully led teams to exceed targets. Your ability to mentor and develop talent is a key strength, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you can drive performance through your team.

You are results-oriented and have a strategic mindset, capable of developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Your experience in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts sets you apart.

Desirable

Experience in physical security or cloud-based technology is a plus. Familiarity with AI-powered solutions and their applications in various industries will enhance your ability to connect with clients.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Enterprise Account Executives, guiding them to achieve their sales targets and develop their skills. You will be responsible for creating and executing the regional sales strategy, ensuring alignment with Verkada's overall mission and objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in driving performance and fostering a high-performing sales culture.

You will engage with key clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships that facilitate business growth. Your role will involve analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that sales efforts are supported by effective campaigns and product offerings.

As a Regional Sales Director, you will also be responsible for reporting on sales performance and providing insights to the executive team. Your ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights will be essential in refining sales strategies and achieving targets.
