Overview

Voltus is hiring a Corporate Counsel to join their growing legal team. You'll be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements while ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This role requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

You have a minimum of five years of experience as a technology attorney, ideally in-house, and are passionate about combating climate change. Your attention to detail is laser-focused, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a significant impact. You are a self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal landscapes. Your expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements is complemented by your ability to assess potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

You understand the nuances of technology law and are adept at managing legal issues related to commercial partnerships. Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on legal developments that impact the technology sector, particularly in the context of climate change and energy transition.

What you'll do

As a Corporate Counsel at Voltus, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to become a leader in the distributed energy sector. Your primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial and partnership agreements that align with Voltus's strategic goals. You will assess potential risks associated with these agreements and provide legal guidance to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
