Who you are
You have over 12 years of experience managing large-scale voice operations or DevOps teams — you've successfully led teams in high-pressure environments and understand the intricacies of voice technology. Your deep knowledge of the SIP stack and call flows allows you to troubleshoot complex issues effectively, ensuring seamless communication for users.
Hands-on experience with SBCs and policy servers is essential — you have a strong preference for experience with the Ribbon platform, which enables you to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot voice infrastructure components efficiently. You thrive at the intersection of voice technology, operations, and innovation, always looking for ways to improve performance and reliability.
You are a natural leader and mentor — you enjoy guiding a global voice operations team, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional partners in Network, Cloud, Security, and Engineering to deliver comprehensive voice solutions.
Your analytical skills are top-notch — you can analyze SIP signaling and call flows to identify issues and implement effective fixes. You are proactive in strengthening voice systems through automation, monitoring, and performance improvements, ensuring that all systems align with cloud and enterprise security best practices.

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor a global voice operations team, focusing on maintaining and evolving Vonage's enterprise voice infrastructure. You will manage daily operations, including incident response and on-call coordination, ensuring that call quality and reliability are exceptional across all platforms.
You will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SBCs, policy servers, and other voice infrastructure components, utilizing your expertise to resolve issues swiftly. Your role will involve analyzing SIP signaling and call flows to identify problems and implement effective solutions, ensuring seamless communication for users.
Collaboration is key — you will partner with cross-functional teams in Network, Cloud, Security, and Engineering to deliver end-to-end voice solutions. Your ability to work with vendors like Ribbon for advanced troubleshooting, upgrades, and platform enhancements will be crucial in driving improvements.
You will also focus on strengthening voice systems through automation, monitoring, and proactive performance improvements. Ensuring that all systems align with cloud and enterprise security best practices will be a priority, as you work to enhance the overall reliability and performance of the voice infrastructure.
