Waabi is hiring a Fleet Specialist to ensure the safe and efficient operation of self-driving vehicles. You'll work closely with commercial vehicle drivers and collaborate with engineers and operations teams. This position is based in Dallas, TX.

You have a strong interest in autonomous vehicle technology and are eager to support the safe operation of self-driving vehicles. You are comfortable working in a dynamic setting and can communicate effectively with both drivers and engineers. You are adaptable and willing to work occasional weekends or holidays to support operations. You understand the importance of safety and efficiency in the transportation sector and are committed to contributing positively to the team.
What you'll do
As a Fleet Specialist at Waabi, you will play a crucial role in the operation of self-driving vehicles. You will work closely with commercial vehicle drivers to prepare for vehicle trips and monitor vehicle status during these trips. Your responsibilities will include annotating on-road events to enhance the performance of the autonomous vehicle system and providing essential information to the driver to ensure full monitoring of vehicle behavior. You will collaborate with the operations team to maintain effective communication between drivers, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the vehicle operation process. Your role will require you to sit in the vehicle for extended periods, and you may need to travel to support out-of-area vehicle trips. You will be instrumental in helping Waabi bring the promise of self-driving technology closer to commercialization.
