Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Technology, ideally with a Bachelor's degree in one of these fields. Your experience includes leading teams and developing training programs that enhance the skills of technicians and engineers. You understand the importance of fostering a culture of safety and compliance, and you are committed to continuous learning and improvement within your team. You possess technical certifications such as ASE or OEM training, which further validate your expertise in the field. Your ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and tackle new challenges is a key asset.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of Fleet Maintenance Technicians and Vehicle Reliability Engineers, guiding them in best practices for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance of the autonomous truck fleet. You will oversee regular inspections and maintenance activities, ensuring that all processes are effective and that root cause analyses are conducted to resolve recurring vehicle issues. Collaboration with engineering teams will be essential as you implement temporary fixes and long-term design improvements. You will also support in-depth investigations related to software and hardware issues, driving resolution strategies for complex fleet-wide challenges. Your leadership will standardize technical reporting and translate technical findings into strategic actions that enhance fleet readiness.
