What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Android application that interfaces with Waymo's autonomous vehicles. You will work on features that enhance the rider experience during pickups and drop-offs, ensuring that interactions are intuitive and efficient. Collaborating with product managers and designers, you will translate user needs into functional software solutions. You will also engage in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the application, ensuring it meets performance and reliability standards. Your work will directly impact the user experience, making it essential that you prioritize usability and accessibility in your designs. You will participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and innovative ideas for improving the application. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest trends in mobile development and autonomous technology, applying new knowledge to enhance the product.
