What you'll do
In this role, you will set the vision for a team of Product Data Scientists, guiding them in executing projects that enhance the Waymo Driver's operational efficiency. You will own the output across optimizations, statistical modeling, data analysis, and machine learning algorithms, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality insights that drive business decisions. You will analyze complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, collaborating closely with other departments to implement your findings. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling the Waymo Driver's commercial operations, as you work to enhance rider satisfaction and operational quality.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers within the company. Regularly, you will present your team's findings to senior leadership, articulating the impact of your work on the company's strategic goals. You will play a key role in shaping the future of autonomous driving technology, contributing to projects that have a significant impact on mobility and safety.
What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $268,000—$340,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
